The Story so far...

Hi there, I'm Rebecca, the heart and soul behind The Inniscent Candle. Born and raised just outside Belfast, Northern Ireland, I've always cherished this city and its wonderful people. Our company name, 'The Inniscent Candle,' pays tribute to my beloved grandparents, Harry & Margaret, and the warm haven they created.

My love affair with candles stems from a deep appreciation for self-care rituals. I'm all about those big, bold scents that can fill a room and transport you to cherished memories.

As I've grown, so has my consciousness as a consumer. I couldn't ignore the impact of businesses on our planet and society. Many products I once loved no longer aligned with my values. Mass-produced, weak-scented candles with questionable quality and disregard for the environment and people left me unsatisfied.

Then, during the pandemic, I found solace in crafting candles as a way to unwind and declutter my mind. I committed to sourcing my materials from the UK and Ireland, avoiding plastics, and selecting the most enchanting scents. Over time, I mastered my techniques, and voilà! The Inniscent Candle was born.

From the very beginning, I've remained true to my values, striving to create a business for the greater good. We don't just make candles – we make exceptional candles that echo our values: quality, community, and the environment. As a small token of our appreciation, we donate 5% of our sales to charitable causes.

Beyond The Inniscent Candle, I'm a proud mum to a lively toddler, partner to my love, and pet-mum to a crazy springer cross and one very grumpy cat.
